3809 GT Reborn

Ferrrari classiche has just completed a two year restoration of 3809 GT.

They say “Swiss driver Kalman Von Czazy took possession of the car in May 1962 and raced it for the first time on 15 July, immediately winning the Solitude Grand Prix in Stuttgart. One month later he triumphed in the German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring and in October won the Grand Prix of Tyrol in Innsbruck, before damaging the car in the 1000km de Paris. The 250 GTO, one of the most iconic models in the history of the Prancing Horse, was thus restored to its original shape of 1962, complete with a longitudinal white stripe that appeared in the first of the car's sale contracts.”
