52nd Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or

Some fabulous Ferraris participated in last weekend’s Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or held by Peter Auto.

Most were in the Sixties’ Endurance class alongside the Shelby Cobra, E-Type Jaguars and Porsches, including the 550A driven by Gérard Larrouse, MGBs and Triumph TR3s, all of which were locked in battle in a race lasting two hours.

Although Friday morning’s free practice took place on a wet track due to a heavy drizzle, in the afternoon qualifying was held on a dry circuit. The weather stayed fine over the next two days so the 14 000 spectators were able to enjoy the event to the full.
