Early TdF in Monterey 0507GT

For their Monterey sale RMSotheby’s will offer 0507GT from the Sam and Emily Mann collection with an estimate of $7,000,000 – $9,000,000 USD.

0507GT is the second 250 GT ‘Tour de France’ Berlinetta built and has early features such a rear wrap around window.

It was first purchased by Ottavio Randaccio in 1956 who used it at the Mille Miglia and various other Itlian events.

By 1959 it was owned by René Trautmann and had its bodywork modified following an incedent at the 1959 Coppa InterEuropa.

In fully restored condition 0507GT has appeared at the 2006 Cavallino Classic and 2006 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
